Lt. Col. AG Nandang Commissions the Newly Renovated Igwe Charles Ezeudeogu Squash Hall at Onitsha Country Club and Closes the TimJam Health Drink Internal Promotional Tournament
In August 2024, Onitsha Country Club celebrated the grand reopening of its newly renovated, state-of-the-art Igwe Charles Ezeudeogu Squash Hall, a premier facility designed to enhance the club’s squash offerings and provide an upgraded experience for members. The renovation was marked by a special commissioning ceremony, led by the esteemed Lt. Col. AG Nandang, whose presence underscored the club’s commitment to promoting health, sports, and community engagement.
The Igwe Charles Ezeudeogu Squash Hall now features advanced facilities, improved lighting, modernized courts, and enhanced spectator seating, all crafted to provide a superior environment for players and fans alike. Lt. Col. Nandang praised the renovation, noting its importance in fostering athletic development and encouraging active lifestyles among members. He commended the leadership of Onitsha Country Club for their dedication to creating high-quality recreational spaces that benefit the community.
The day’s events also included the closing ceremony of the TimJam Health Drink Internal Promotional Tournament, a spirited competition that saw club members face off in friendly but intense squash matches. Sponsored by TimJam Health Drink, the tournament was designed to promote wellness and camaraderie among members, while showcasing the newly enhanced squash hall.
